welcome to wineador. I recently became aware of the fun and frustration of building a "wineador". After buying a few expensive cigars, and realizing that the temperature variations in my apartment were going to be too much for my new cigars to handle, I set out on a search to figure out a better solution for my humidor.

Enter the "Brothers of the Leaf". This site offers an abundance of information, all provided by fellow cigar lovers. In their "storage" section of the forums, I came across the Wineador, and am in the process of converting my own thermo-electric wine cooler into a full-fledged humidor... er, wineador.

While the forums on BOTL and other sites have provided wonderful information, I felt that a better solution was needed for all of us who are going through the conversion. What makes models should we avoid? What should we look for? Where should we drill holes? Which peltier works with our cooler when the inevitable happens?
